Awesome!! on January 11, 2008 by mom2boys from Indianapolis,IN

  • Pros: Awesome, Great Pics and Great Facts

My boys have been getting this for a little over a year. They love it!! They get so excited when their own magazine comes in. I think it is an awesome way to teach children about the creatures of our earth!

Zoo Lovers Love It on November 21, 2007 by Katrina O from Midwest

  • Pros: Great photos and factual info
  • Cons: Could be longer

My son, 7, absolutely loves this magazine. It's the first thing he goes for at the library since he was about five and a half. All the creatures others said their kids aren't interested, thrill my son. Spiders, skunks you name it. Of course he loves lions, tigers, bears and sharks too. We're finally getting a subscription. If you're not sure check it out from the local library before making the investment.

Great for the True Animal-Loving Child! on November 13, 2007 by Mother of Four from Stanford, CA

  • Pros: Great Pictures, In-Depth Coverage & Pictures, NO ADS!!!!
  • Cons: Text meant for 4th,5th grader

This has been a GREAT FIND! I have a son who is a true ANIMAL LOVER at heart and he LOVES these. I love them because they are full of interesting pictures & photographs plus things I never knew about animals I have known about all my life (like how eagles and other birds of prey have 3 eyelids!) We ordered National Geographic for kids but it was too cluttered with adds and funky graphics that it lost my son's interest. He asks to read/look at these....
