This magazine provides wonderful recipes, as well as background information regarding subject matter. All information is fully contained in sections, unlike most cooking magazines where an article is written towards the beginning and then any recipes follow at then end. I absolutely love that they actually write an entire recipe on one page, instead of breaking them up all over the magazine. I have heard others lament that it is short on recipes, but it is also short on useless ads! Because of it's brevity, I actually read cover to cover every issue. Can you say that about any other subscriptions you receive?

If I could only get one food magazine

This is the one food magazine I have to have. I love to take my time reading it and I'm a little sad when I finish the last page. It's not full of everday recipes but if you love to read about food all over the world, Saveur is for you.

A five star chef/restaurant owner recommended Saveur magazine as the only magazine needed for the cook, the foodie and the traveler. It always seems to have the exact history, recipes and techniques I want, whether Mexican, seafood, or any of the myriad cuisines of the world.

Best Food Magazine Out

As a food lover I subscribe to several food-related magazines and hands down Saveur magazine is my favorite. It is very detail-oriented and has wonderful photographs. I find the recipes to be approachable and interesting. I will be renewing my subscription when it is up.

The format of Saveur magazine is really nice to read. The Fare and Agenda columns are two of the best features. Little tidbits of events and histories from the past and around the world at the beginning of each issue kind of whet the palate for what's to come!

Saveur magazine is a must-read for any foodie. It has all kinds of information on different foods of the world and cultures. It takes you away from the humdrum of processed foods and brings you back to the days when food was a surprise for the palette of the connoisseur.
