I waited about 3yrs before I broke down and odered a subscription but am so glad I did. This magazines tells about many items from food to small appliances and does comparisons. I never throw this magazine away, I've gone back to use for research many times. definitely worth the money

Shop Smart magazine has excellent info in many categories. It also tells which products NOT to buy as well as the ones that are good purchases. I definitely recommend, especially if you like Consumer Reports magazine.

Shop Smart magazine is a very exceptional magazine. I read from cover to back. Shop Smart magazine provides good hints and allows me to compare items or procedures and make better decisions. I like the idea that they have tested and/or tried most of the products and include the pros and cons of each item and where to get the best buys.

I am a subscriber to Consumers Report and always refer to it before I make a major purchase. My daughter just became a home owner but would never think of enjoying the same publication; it's too technical.
