This is one of those magazines that just never goes 'out of style' - you know, like National Geographic. What a delight, to either just scan through or when time allows, spend more time reading articles. Inspiring too. Who doesn't want to undertake home/garden/culinary projects after thumbing through an issue of Sunset?? p.s. I've just placed my first order thru this website - so far, so good. I'm impressed that a credit card isn't required; the one thing I was hesitant about was ending up in some eternal renewal cycle - that won't happen. You can process order via snail mail and avoid that risk!

I love sunset magazine. GREAT travel tips for living in the west coast. Off the beaten path ideas that aren't too fancy or too crunchy. The price on Magazine.com cannot be beat!
Sunset has great articles, and even better recipes. They take you to wonderful destinations; places I have been to and would love to go to. Their descriptions are enticing and accurate, and the photos are awe-inspiring.
Magazines.com saved me a subscription to one of my favorite magazines, Sunset!! Magazines.com has great deals and I always purchase from them.
What a great magazine! If you're looking for a glimpse into the laid back but still cultured lifestyle of the tranquil coast, this magazine will give it to you. It's filled with beautiful photos whether it's shot of a majestic landscape or pot of winter beef stew. Articles are a light, pleasant read and are often times filled with great information on restaurants and other sites to visit. Also, I find many of the recipes are just as good as those found in strictly cooking magazines! There's a little something for everyone...epecially if you are looking to get a taste of west coast living.
Wonderful blend of cooking, home and travel articles. Beautiful photos whether they are of a hearty beef stew or the breathtaking view of the California coast. The articles are well written and easy to digest. I find something useful in every issue, even if it's just a recipe! Great slice of West Coast living for the native or if you just want to feel like you live there!
I love Sunset Magazine. It's a fun publication to look through and find tips, recipes, garden tips, etc. Nice photographs.

Maybe I’m a little biased since I grew up in California, but I love the West. That’s probably why I enjoy Sunset magazine so much. And now that I’ve relocated to Nashville, TN, Sunset magazine gives me a little piece of home right here in the South.
At it’s core, Sunset is basically a how-to guide to the best things about living in the American West. My favorite thing about Sunset magazine is the beautiful photography that highlights the Western landscape--from desert destinations to mountain retreats and ocean escapes. The magazine covers vacation spots for every budget, from the ultimate luxury vacation to quick, budget-friendly Northern California weekend or day trips.
Westerners really do have a way of enjoying nature that is evident through the many first-person stories and snapshots included in the magazine. Even if you’ve never had the chance to take a morning hike in the Sierras, or an afternoon trip to Napa, you can take a vicarious escape on a lazy Sunday afternoon sifting through the pages of Sunset magazine.
Of course, I also love Sunset’s focus on food and wine. Western cooking is distinctive and I really love the focus on organic ingredients, whether it’s how and what to buy at the farmers’ market or growing your own. Some recent recipes I’ve enjoyed include spiced lemon quinoa and meatball vegetable soup. And of course every issue highlights wine from Northern California.
