About The Atlantic

That legacy continues with its lengthy, well-written features and the inclusion of poetry in every monthly issue. Just as The Atlantic's earliest writers did, today's staff covers the most intriguing topics of the day across wide-ranging subjects of current events, world affairs, business, science, technology, education, the arts, and social issues. The magazine aims to challenge, inform, and entertain with its mix of opinion, commentary, and analysis.

The Atlantic's content is divided into three main sections: "Features," which include longer articles that address a wealth of intriguing subjects; "Dispatches," a catch-all of shorter briefs on domestic affairs, technology, business, social issues, an cultural topics; and "The Culture File," columns and reviews covering television, film, books, travel, and drink.

Throughout the year, The Atlantic may publish special issues dedicated to one of its regularly covered topics, such as technology. Annually, it publishes "The Ideas Issue," which highlights the boldest ideas and emerging trends each year.

Anyone who enjoys a thought-provoking read would enjoy a subscription to The Atlantic magazine!
