About Woman's Day

First published in 1931, the magazine shares positive, helpful advice for everyday living in each monthly issue.

Woman's Day organizes its content in the following sections: "Embrace the Day," which covers tips to simplify your life, philanthropic efforts, and uplifting features about women; "At Home," a round-up of great deals for the home, easy decorating suggestions, and DIY projects; "Style," a compilation of beauty product picks, age-defying style advice, and bargain fashion finds; "Cookbook," low-cost meals and simple weeknight dinners, plus menu plans and smart grocery shopping strategies; "Healthy You," motivational weight-loss stories, healthy snacking options, and the latest in health news; "Love Your Pet," how to take care of your furry friend; and "Money," tips on saving money in making everything from everyday items to big-ticket purchases.

Throughout the year, Woman's Day publishes several special issues devoted to seasonal cooking, such as summer or fall foods, or holidays, like the Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Additional special editions may be dedicated to topics like home organizing or savings.

Woman's Day Magazine Subscription Review Video

Hi. I’m TV & radio host Patricia Lopez.

If you’re thinking about a subscription to Woman’s Day magazine let me share with you a few of the great things about this publication.

What first comes to mind for me? Woman’s Day magazine doesn’t flaunt anyone famous on the cover month after month, but the practical tips inside are empowering enough to make anyone feel like a superwoman.

Generally, the content is based on living well, being well and eating well. Within those three very broad categories are tips on just about anything a woman needs to know about managing a well-balanced life.

Getting homes organized and finances in order are popular topics in every issue. And there’s always an easy craft project that can add a personal or seasonal touch to any décor.

The beauty and fitness tips you’d find in other magazines are presented here too, along with plenty of easy-to-follow steps and affordable product recommendations. And, like the others, they’re still guaranteed to boost your hair’s shine and flatten those abs fast.

The magazine’s well-developed food section covers a little bit of everything too, from must-know nutrition tips and easy no-cook meals to classics and cool desserts to help beat the summer heat. If you like to plan ahead, there’s plenty of manageable menus for holiday meals and weeknight dinners as well.

But most of the content is dedicated to emotional and physical health. Topics in recent issues include assessing relationships and when to let go of them, and how military spouses rely on each other to get through deployments until their loved ones return home.

At its core, Woman’s Day helps readers find a little “me” time, ultimately making that balance between a busy and fulfilling life possible.

If that sounds like a good read to you, and believe me it is, then take a look at the current Woman’s Day subscription offers at Magazines.com.

Great magazine for recipes

Woman's Day is a tried and true magazine with great family friendly recipes. The short stories and relevant articles make this a good pick for the price.

I guess we get what we pay for with Woman's Day. I counted every page in the giant issue for October, and out of 208 pages, not including the back cover or pages that are half ads. There are 113 pages of ads. I would like to see more about fall/Halloween and not Michelle Obama wannabe's. There's more fun in life than trying to dress or look like someone else.
