This ia a fantastic magazine. When I read the articles I feel as though I'm in touch with the author. The articles are perfect length too.
This fine magazine provides the facts behind the stories you thought you knew. It covers all aspects of military involvement in World War II, and does not avoid shedding light on difficult subjects. A good read!
I recently read the articles on Kursk, Stalin and the Rapido. Since I had 5 uncles that fought in the European theater during the war.One was a pow in a German camp, another fought at Anzio where his best friend died. I feel that World War II magazine does these men a great service and helps those of us who followed after them remember that their sacrifice was done to free the occupied lands and preserve our freedom.
World War II is a great magazine. It covers the Pacific and Atlantic theaters. There are first-hand pieces from service men and women from all branches; it doesn't matter if its Navy, Army, Marines or (Army)Air Force; I love the feeling of being there on the front lines with the boys! I try to look for information on what or where my grandfather\father and uncles did during the war.
