I have a 7 y.o. who is really excited about reading. The fact there are no ads in Boys' Quest magazine was really appealing, given the comments about Boys Life ads and how influential they can be to boys. Outweighs the extra cost for the subscription, to not have to deal with the asking of things from the ads.
My son loves Boys' Quest magazine and reads it from cover to cover.
