About Arizona Highways

Relaunched and refocused a few times early on, Arizona Highways soon transformed into its present format, featuring travel tales, historical stories, and humor about the state of Arizona alongside stunning photography.

Each monthly issue allows readers close to home and around the world to visit scenic towns, relive the region's rich history, explore diverse back road terrain, and hike urban and wilderness trails through the magazine's pages. Insider travel information, tips, and more are a hallmark of Arizona Highways' content, which covers lodging, dining, popular and out-of-the-way destination recommendations, and an events calendar. The magazine is also widely known for its spectacular photography, a reputation that grew in part due to contributions from legendary landscape photographer Ansel Adams.

Throughout the year, Arizona Highways may devote issues to seasonal topics, such as summer or fall activities, must-see events, holiday travel ideas, and more.

Anyone who wants to explore Arizona's natural beauty up close would enjoy a subscription to Arizona Highways magazine!

I lived in Arizona for 4 years. It is a gorgeous state with TONS to see and do. My husband and I took SO many fun road trips around AZ based on the things we read about in Arizona Highways magazine. The pictures are gorgeous and the articles are well written and interesting to read. We had to moved due to job situations and I still get the magazine!

Great Magazine for Traveler or Photographer

By Strangebird

from Boston, MA

I've been to AZ a number of times and love it there. Arizona Highways magazine brings me back to trips I've taken and makes me want to go again and again. The articles are interesting and informative. And if you're a photographer like I am and are interested in shooting the varied landscapes and culture of AZ, this should be in your mailbox every month.

Santa Fe, Arizona

By Cookie Man

from Gallup, New Mexico

I enjoyed your article about Arizona and New Mexico coming into the United States of America together. I live in New Mexico and know why we are named New Mexico, but don't know why Arizona was named Arizona. Your entire issue devoted to Lake Powell was awesome. We own a houseboat and go there all summer long.
