Using the Shopping Cart


Magazines.com uses a "shopping cart" system that operates the same way you would use a shopping cart in a retail store—you can put items in and take items out at any time. To add a subscription to your cart, simply click "Add To Cart".

Each time you add a subscription you will see a list of the items currently in your shopping cart. If you want to add more items, click the "Continue Shopping" button to go back to the online store. If you want to remove an item, simply click on the "remove" button in your cart.

If you wish to order multiple copies of the same item, simply add the item to your cart a second time. During checkout you will have the chance to specify the mailing address for each subscription.

For your convenience, you can always view the contents of your shopping cart by clicking the "Cart" icon found in the navigation menu.

Checking Out


When you have finished selecting the subscription you wish to purchase, press the "CHECKOUT" button to advance to the shipping and payment area. At Step 1 of the checkout process, you may either sign in as a returning customer, or you may begin checkout as a guest.

Next you will be guided through steps prompting you to enter the delivery address for each magazine. Finally, you will be asked to enter your payment and billing information. At this point, Magazines.com will attempt to pre-authorize the charge. If this pre-authorization fails, you will get a billing error message that will prompt you to recheck your billing information or enter an alternate credit card. You will not be able to submit your order until there is a successful pre-authorization.

Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation will also contain your Order ID number. Keep this information in your records, as it will help our Customer Care staff better assist you should you need to contact us.

Publishers ask that you allow 4-6 weeks for weekly magazines, and 6-8 weeks for monthly magazines, and up to 12 weeks for less-frequently published magazines. However, you can expect faster delivery of many of our top-selling magazines. If you have not received your first issue within the estimated delivery time period, please contact Customer Care.

To further respect your privacy, Magazines.com does not release your credit card information or mailing address to any outside organizations.

Check Your Order Status


Checking the status of your order is easy. Just click the "Login" link (located at the top, right corner of every page) and log into your account. If you did not create a login and password, you can activate your account by using the forgot password link on the login page. After logging into your account, under the Order History section, you should see a summary of your orders. If it says your order is "completed", that means your order has been processed and your mailing address has been sent to the magazine publisher.

Canceling An Order


At Magazines.com, your complete satisfaction is our #1 priority.

Magazine Subscriptions
If you find that within the first three months of placing your order that you are not 100% satisfied - for any reason - let us know, and we will gladly give you a full, prompt refund. After three months, if you find that you no longer wish to receive a magazine, we will be happy to provide a refund for any unserved issues.

Nonstandard Addresses


We deliver to nonstandard addresses, including military APOs/FPOs and correctional facilities.

Orders for delivery to APOs and FPOs can be entered online. Use the "City" line on the order form for the APO or FPO designation and select the two-letter code for the region (AA, AE, or AP) in the "State" field. If you have problems entering your order online, we're at your service! Just contact Customer Care at 1-800-MAGAZINES (800-624-2946).

To place an order for delivery to a correctional facility, please call 1-800-403-8941 and a Customer Care representative will assist you.
