The title is deceiving. Not a lot of real cowboys and hardly an Indian anywhere. Mostly movie star wanna-be types, and musicians that have some tiny bit of Indian blood. The White women dressed up as Indians have no idea how pitiful they look or how silly. From month to month the magazine appears to be frantically looking for good subject matter and failing.

Our family first noticed Cowboys and Indians on a magazine rack. The cover pulled us in, we were on a trip and wanted something to look at. That first magazine that we got was worn out by the time that we got to Texas. Ever since I try to get a subscription to it, or get it at my local store. They do a great job with the overall layout.

I got Cowboys & Indians magazine for my parents and they just love it. The front covers also make great coffee table displays. They rave about the magazine. I have also enjoyed reading them with I visit my parents. It's a big magazine full of interesting stories.

I bought Cowboys & Indians magazine for a friend who loves John Wayne. Well, I just had to get one for myself too. It's a great magazine for men and women. I am impressed with the articles and how the editors capture not only the interest through visually enticing photos but also the words used to intrigue that make me want to keep reading. I will bring this magazine to the attention of all my friends who enjoy great art, articles and just home grown reading.
