• Pros: Beautiful patterns

Creative Knitting magazine has beautiful and elaborate patterns. I usually try to knit from my stash. You can find some quick projects, such as slippers, socks, place mats or cup cozies. Many of the patterns require a lot of a specific yarn and time. I am a prolific knitter but I have not knitted anything from my three issues of Creative Knitting yet.

Really love Creative Knitting magazine. Offers patterns for all skill levels. Just ordered it for my daughter-in-law, who requested it after seeing mine!

I love knitting magazines, I really do. Be aware that I have had numerous problems with patterns in Creative Knitting magazine, having to frog (rip-it) or make up corrections. This, more than any of the other magazine, I buy with the memory of frogging and repairing, probably 8-10 times, which is much, much more than any other. The ideas are very cute and fun, but be careful and do your counting carefully while working a pattern, and be prepared for fix-its. I do like the articles, and the pictures give me some great ideas.
