More about Dwell: Dwell Magazine was launched in August 2000 by Lara Hedberg Deam of San Fransisco, Ca. Deam got the inspiration for Dwell when she felt that there was not another magazine on the market that sufficed what she was looking for. Deam was building her own home and wanted a magazine with authentic homes. She has a passion for modern design and feels it is important to illustrate architecture and design that appeal to our time. Throughout Dwell are floor plans and pictures of modern architecture and décor.
