Man at His Best on October 01, 2008 by Kinght in Armor from US Army

  • Pros: For grown men
  • Cons: Not for boys

This is the best 'Mens" magazine out period. Grown men fashion, reviews on eating, drinking, Answer guys takes your questions on the ridiculous to the appropriate. Women we love and good interviews and fiction storys. I've been reading Esquire for the last 20+ years started when I was in my 20's and got introduce to things like Pimm's No. 1 cup.

One of the all-time greats on February 29, 2008 by bob from San Diego, CA

  • Pros: Excellent writing.
  • Cons: Some of the fashion trends are too $$$.

This is easily the best men's magazine out there right now. I have been a subscriber for close to 10 years now, and still read every single issue cover to cover. The early section in the magazine is often a bit short --- culture tips, questionnaires, and so on. But the latter part - interviews, stories, essays - is simply excellent. Two of the best magazine writers - Tom Chiarella and AJ Jacobs - are regular contributors. If I had to abandon all my subscriptions except one, Esquire is the one I'd keep.

The Gingerbread Girl on June 28, 2007 by sonofdarkness

This is classic Stephen King. The novella captured my attention right from the very beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat to the very end. I know of readers who, unfortunately, didn't purchase a copy of this magazine when it hit the shelves and who are now looking to purchase their copies. I am very interested in submitting some of my own writings to Esquire.
