Great Gift for My Husband on November 10, 2009 by Bebeinbloom from Central Illinois

While Outdoor Life is not the magazine it used to be (How many are anymore with decreased advertising dollars?) it is still the one magazine that represents a wide variety of outdoor activities and events. It's a great gift for the hubby, who loves it as a quick read upon arrival!

Outdoor Life used to be decent but I do not have many good things to say now. The articles are repetitive and the reviews could use some improvement. It is no longer the quality it was 20 years ago. Honestly, I can't get anything new out of this magazine. I get it for free, unsure why, and still don't care for it.

Is Outdoor Life a catalog, or an outdoors publication? The magazine should get back to the stories versus the how-to articles. Sickening and I will never subscribe again! This used to be an awesome publication. The editor should be reprimanded or replaced!
