I have been getting Real Simple magazine for years and really look forward to it every month. Recently, however, they have increased their ad content - probably for revenue to keep running. I spend my first browse ripping out all the ads so I can do a second read-through of the actual content.

I am a subscriber to Real Simple, and I have been for several years. I just got my November 2009 issue and the print is now so small that it is uncomfortable to read, even with my prescription glasses on. What's up with this new trend of printing? I don't like this change.

I always find Real Simple magazine to be a delightfully informational and inspirational read each month. Sometimes I devour it in one setting, but I ALWAYS find multiple reasons to refer back to it throughout the month. I feel like this magazine, unlike most out there, is written specifically for me.

I want to give a shout-out to Matthew Sporzynski who is responsible for the paper construction in each article of Real Simple magazine. Kudos to Craig Thompson for styling. It's the first thing I look for in each issue and I love the creativity! I wish the magazine would do a feature article on Matthew and his artwork. By the way, Real Simple is the only magazine that I read cover-to-cover and I never throw away an issue. My only complaint is that for some reason I did not receive the August issue and I am so bummed.
