Not Recommended on March 01, 2010 by KY from South Central Kentucky

I subscribed to Taste Of Home magazine for years and still have the old issues. I do not like the new layout nor the recipes. The same with Southern Living magazine. They changed the layout and it is not good. When I pay a big price for my subscriptions I want to enjoy what I read. I like to see good recipes, something I would make in your home.

Taste Of Home, Not What it Used to Be on January 20, 2010 by Cupcake from Minnesota

I feel so sad that Taste Of Home, my favorite magazine, has gone down the tubes. I'm canceling my subscription.

Subscription Different than Magazines in stores on January 17, 2010 by JuliaC from Midwest Ohio

I bought Taste Of Home magazine in a store and it was filled with wonderful recipes so I filled out the subscription card and the magazines that I received in the mail were thin and filled with advertisements. They are unlike the ones sold in stores for $8.99. The magazine should state that the magazine coming at such a great price is one-tenth the content. I will be glad when my magazine subscription ends. For all others, I recommend you save your money and pay for the ones in the stores that actually have recipes cover to cover.

Hate the new format! on December 16, 2009 by Mmcookeatgood from Northwest

  • Cons: Ads! No country feel.

Like everyone else...what happened to our old beloved Taste Of Home magazine? The main reason I loved all the Reiman publications was because there were no advertisements. Taste of Home is just like every other newstand women's magazines now. I had to stop subscribing several years ago for financial reasons, and I wondered why they now offered it at such a low price. After my first issue I know why. I miss the old format.
