- Pros: One of the best learning tools I've ever purchased
- Cons: Most projects are geared toward large power tool owners
I've subscribed to this magazine for many years. Even before I owned my own home. I found most instructions very insightful, easy to understand and many possible within my limited budget. Many times I felt as tho I had just received the next best thing to a toy catalog!

- Pros: Good how to's; good varity of topics
- Cons: Most projects are geared to high dollar applications
This magazine is the best I have read, and being around wood working and renovations for 45 years I have read many. The topics are across the board enough so that every reader will have at least an article or two that is worth the cost of the subscription, many times over. The reader is not talked down to like a novice, nor left with lots of questions that would be general knowledge to a professional. I do find most projects to be on the upper end of the scale as far as materials used, tools needed and skills involved. But the serious homeowner can adapt with materials and tools, and I believe every home owner wants to be challenged to work more skillfully with each project undertaken. Get your hands on just two months of this magazine and I believe you will agree it should be a resource for every homeowner.
