Wishing for Improvement on October 06, 2009 by Intelliwoman from Los Angeles

  • Pros: Pretty pictures
  • Cons: Poor content

Why can't Women's Health be Men's Health for Women? Men's Health is so well done with great health articles and truly helpful information about sex; it encourages male adults of all ages to be healthy, sexy and well-groomed. On the other hand, Women's Health is a cross between Cosmo and 17 with some exercises thrown in. I hope the Women's Health staff gets Men's Health editors as advisors for their weak and unattractive women's version. Urban Women need an alternative to suburban mom magazines.

Women's Health on December 18, 2008 by savvyone from san francisco, CA

  • Pros: Good for browsing
  • Cons: Lacks depth

I subscribed to this magazine because I've accidentally read a bunch of issues of Men's Health, thought it was great, and was presuming that Women's Health would be on par. It's not. the magazine is very thin on content, and lacks the depth that you find in Men's Health. I just turned 40, and felt that the magazine was geared for an audience much younger than me, If this is the case, then it my bad for making a bad subscription choice.
