I Love this Magazine
Review by Kymie W. on 2 Jan 2011 review stating I Love this Magazine
I have been a subscriber or intermittant buyer for at least 10 years. Piecework is a small publication that focuses on illuminating needle crafts from around the world. Each issue includes both historical and modern pieces. Opening the pages is like exploring a trunk in Grandmas attic. You never know what wonderful pieces of hand work you might find. The great thing about Piecework is that it explains what you see; giving history and techniques. Most articles include instructions for a modern interpretation of the spotlighted work. The photographs are lovely.

most interesting, informative and beautiful needlework magaz
Review by Ladysunshine on 8 May 2010 review stating most interesting, informative and beautiful needlework magaz
All in all this is just the most fabulous magazine for those of us interested in needlework of any kind. I so enjoy how thoroughly the articles are researched and how the writer's enjoyment of what they are writing about shines through the printed page. I have subscribed for about 3yrs and when this magazine comes I sit down with tea or soda and enjoy it cover to cover. Ishow it to my needleworking friends but, if they want a pattern I xerox it for the; won't take the chance of loosing a single issue. Especially now that I have decided to try the knitted lace samplers from the July/August 2010 issue!

When I read PieceWork magazine I always feel I am going back in time. Too many articles and not enough patterns.
