Review by Moviegal on 11 Mar 2012review stating Great if You Love the Industry
I'm a movie fan and I'm fascinated by the industry. I've been a Variety reader for over a decade. This is not the publication for the casual fan but if you want to learn more about the inner workings of the film, music and television industry, this is the paper for you!
Review by Tricia S. on 7 Mar 2024review stating Non-industry reader
I do not work in any type of entertainment industry but still find this magazine to be interesting and the photos are always excellent. There are quite a lot of ads which seem geared towards those in the entertainment industry. The large size of the physical magazine makes it a little difficult to manage but for the aesthetics of the pictures and the advertisements it is a plus.
Review by Bip on 28 Feb 2018review stating Ryan Seacrest
How dare you smear someone who has been recused of wrong-doing. This magazine is scum and you should check your facts before printing this horrible untruth. I believe women should rise up and speak but as usual some women can only lie and want money. She has asked Ryan for money on many occasions so does that not tell you anything. She is ruining the movement for legitimate terrible harassment of real women. Never read your stuff again. Too many lies. (Typical).
Review by Chas on 5 Jun 2011review stating Not worth it
Hardly worth price any longer due to very little of my particular interests- legit- to read. Waste of money for a few pages of unrelated news for my interests-- legit. I have been loyal subscriber for past 40 years. Not an expense account nor company paying. Out of pocket payments only. Most readers take advantage of reading only if some company pays for subscription. Most are not really interested if they must pay out of pocket. I am now one. There is nothing left to read for $329 yr.
