- Pros: Good summary
I've read this since it was first published and I got a free subscription offer via the internet. Since then I've looked for other internet offers and when my 4 year very low cost subscription expired found that it had become a main stream magazine and no more cheap subscriptions! I've shared it with relatives using the buy your subscription and get 2 free for others deals. I'd be lost without it and try to make sure I look at the TV page to get info on some of the PBS programs that I'd otherwise not know about.

- Pros: all the important news you would read in a newspaper.
- Cons: can't think of any
I canceled my daily newspaper after I started subscribing to THE WEEK. There's no need to read all that nonsense anymore because this magazine even has Hollywood and TV show information.

- Pros: Broad range of topics, concise, timely
- Cons: Too many ads take away space from interesting news. Grammar could be improved.
THE WEEK magazine always has an interesting collection of news that I would not otherwise learn. Friends to whom I refer to the magazine appreciate the style and topics. Most articles present multiple view points as opposed to being one sided. Quick read yet grammar should be improved. Great job. If a library I encounter does not have the magazine, I offer to sponsor the subscription.

- Pros: Short burst of news & information sourced so that I can do my own in-depth follow up
- Cons: Often arrives up to a week late in the mail
Where else could I learn about so many topics in one place, with source information to lead me to more detail? My son introduced me to The Week when he was a college student. That was 10 years ago, and I've subscribed ever since. I also give it to several friends annually as birthday gifts.
