- Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Very in-depth, Specific, Encourages accountability (rare)
- Cons: Just not enough material for a monthly rag. (No pun, I swear.)
There's only so much happening in the world of off-roading. Nobody is famous and "events" are little more than a bunch of us getting together and driving our trucks over stuff until they break. The best articles are the "How To" ones that help you either prevent breakdowns or help you get it fixed. New product articles are interesting sometimes if the item is economical but all too often in this genre of motorsport (like all others) prices are astronomical even for the stuff that doesn't really do anything. If they cut it to say one rag every two or three months and only featured realistic products I'd re-subscribe. But right now, I don't feel like paying for a new issue every month with slight variations of the same old tired stories and technical advice. The one "gem" you find every few months that actually is informative just isn't enough to justify a monthly circulation. They should save them up until they have at least half a mag full.

This mag is a disappointment. The reviewers sway toward what they think the readers want to hear. There is no objectivity. One month a certain manufacturer is "hot" because they are spending advertising dollars, the next month they are not because a reader complains they aren't "American" and shouldn't be considered legitimate. It's a joke, don't waste your cash.
