Excellent Magazine on August 09, 2009 by Doglover from So Cal

  • Pros: Excellent magazine for dog-lovers who are a

I have subscribed for many years to Bark. The articles are thoughtful and writers are articulate.I love the artistic and literary bent. This is not Dog Fancy. Bark magazine is published from Berkeley, CA, so it attracts a very different reader group.

What a snore. on September 07, 2008 by d-o-g from LA, CA

  • Pros: Colorful and nice paper
  • Cons: Dull writing, overly-winded and pretentious

I subscribed to this magazine because of so many popular reviews and had never seen the magazine until I purchased a year subscription. Not going to do that again and I have been inundated with renewal notices to the level of annoying. Fido Friendly Magazine is much more of an interesting read.

Great Mag! on April 20, 2008 by LaBellaDogga from Adirondacks

  • Pros: Great articles
  • Cons: A little too "trendy"

This is a wonderful magazine! All the articles are appealing and the photos are great. It's a little "trendier" than I would prefer... I buy my pup the best I can, and I find some the items advertised a bit silly, but to each their own! Overall, it's a great read!

At last an intelligent animal book on February 12, 2008 by patrialinda from Naples, Fl.

  • Pros: experts who know what they're talking about
  • Cons: none

I had to read the magazine from cover to cover, even the shorts on each writer. Each one an expert in their field. The articles covered everything about dogs, i particularly enjoyed the article regarding their nutrition and the war going on with the food companies. At last a magazine that doesn't focus on a particular breed, but on love and care we should have for our Buddies no matter what breed they are ;) I truly loved this magazine, and will be a faithful subscriber for a long, long time.
