Cat Fancy is a great magazine. I started getting it 5 years ago when I got my first cat. I now have 4 cats and this magazine has made me laugh and cry. It has made me a better cat parent and each issue teaches me something I didn't know about cats whether its about different breeds or new breakthroughs in cat care, TNR programs, no-kill shelter grants etc. There is a section where kids send in drawings or poems and they have all kinds of contests through out the year.I look forward to each issue and take the ones I've read to work for my patients. They love the pull out posters of the different cat breeds.

Informative resource for cat owners on April 20, 2008

  • Pros: Covers relevent topics for typical cat owners, plus interesting stories on humanitary issues
  • Cons: Lots of advertisements, but good index of breeders

Before I became a subscriber, I thought this magazine was for cat breeders and cat elitists. Now, after being a subscriber for t he past year, I have decided to renew my subscription. The articles offer useful information on symptoms and their possible causes, and cover stories offer in-depth information on topics such as old age and rescuing cats. I become familiar with the different breeds featured every month, and it was especially exciting to see the Siamese featured. This is a magazine I look forward to receiving each month.

  • Pros: Lots of useful cat information.
  • Cons: Way too many ads.

I really liked Cat Fancy, but I think it has way too many ads. Though Cat Fancy does have lots of cool info and stuff you should know about your cat! This is the best cat magazine I've found so far (there are not many cat magazines anyway). If YOUR a cat lover, YOU should get it!
