Need a Lot MORE Coupons on July 10, 2009 by yuj909 from USA

  • Pros: Love the coupons
  • Cons: Not enough coupons

Times are hard. I would like to see a lot more ads WITH coupons on them in Family Circle. It would sure help me buy and try their products. And if I like their products, I will continue to buy them without the coupons. At first, I don't buy products based on ads-I buy them based on a coupon.

Ad Placement Makes it Hard to Read on June 15, 2009 by Keke from USA

  • Pros: good article
  • Cons: too many ads

Family Circle is a good magazine but there are way too many ads. What I would suggest to the magazine is take out some ads because there are way too many. People don't want to look at the ads they want to look at the articles. Family Circle puts ads in the middle of two pages of the article, making it hard to read the article.

For Younger Family on June 02, 2009 by Disappointed Jack from Colorado

I did not subscribe to Family Circle. My subscription was for Country Home, but the company quit publishing it so my subscription is being fulfilled with Family Circle. I would much rather have something similar to Country Home since I am no longer a young mother that could use the info in this magazine.

Very Disappointed on May 29, 2009 by Disappointed Joe from Angleton, Texas

I am very disappointed in Family Circle magazine. I subscribed to help a child with a school project and since I had subscribed to this magazine many years ago, and really enjoyed it, I looked forward to getting it again. I have saved many from as far back as the 1950's, and recently gave some of them to my granddaughter, as she is interested in crafts. I found nothing but ads in this one, and the loose ones, I threw away without even looking at them. I went through the magazine tearing out ads, until I realized there was nothing BUT ads in it. I felt like it was a waste of my money. I am 81-years old and this is the first time I have ever written to complain about anything, but I just had to let you know how disappointed I was. I feel like I paid to buy advertising.

  • Cons: page after page of ads

Family Circle is a disappointment; every page is packed with ads and not much of anything else.
