Popular Photography provides useful information on new products with a good amount of reviews, how-to features and helpful tips for photographers of all levels. There's always something interesting to read in each issue.

• Pros: The title fooled me into buying this magazine!
• Cons: Way too many advertisements!

I am so disappointed in this so-called magazine. Popular Photography magazine is page after page of advertisements for expensive camera equipment and software. I didn't find any useful tips or tricks to help me as an amateur photographer with a basic point & shoot digital camera. There is no REAL use-able information in this magazine. I want to cancel my subscription pronto. It's not a magazine it's a catalog.

• Pros: Great tips for photographers
• Cons: Sometimes feel that its too much Photoshop

I love Popular Photography magazine and have subscribed for years! In the recent years, though, I feel that the magazine is relying too heavily on Photoshopped pictures, and less on actual talent. I do like to use Photoshop, but try to use raw sight and settings to create a beautiful picture. Overall, though, it is a great magazine and I highly recommend!
